Summer homestays in Spain
Students will stay with families in Revenga, a small village near Segovia. On four days students will have a 3 hour Spanish lesson in the morning, 10-13.00. After lunch, students will visit nearby places of interest.
On Wednesday students will visit Madrid, including the Santiago Bernabeu stadium (Real Madrid), Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Retiro Park, etc and also have chance to go shopping. The price will be £ 675 for the 9 days, to include full board, tuition, transport and entrance fees. Students are responsible for their own airfare. We will collect students from Madrid airport and return them there at the end of their stay. |
Other important information:
Check your passport: it needs to be valid for 6 months from date of travel.
You will need to check your European Health card (www.ehic.org.uk) Pack small: the trip is only for 9 days. Mobile phones are OK to take on the trip, however, they will be switched off in the mornings while working, and while visiting museums. There is limited internet connection in the houses but free wi-fi is provided at the town hall. You will need to take stationery, pens, pencils, rubber, notebook, etc. |

Thank you so much for having to stay with you and your family in Revenga. He had a great time and his confidence in speaking Spanish has sky rocketed so much so that he was able to chat away in Spanish to the guy beside him on the plane home! He was also able to help out an elderly Spanish lady at the airport who couldn’t hear the announcements. It has been a wonderful experience for him and has been a great boost also to his general confidence.
